Tatted Stitch Markers

Materials (per marker):
One shuttle
Size 20 thread
13 Seed Beads
1 small and 1 large jump ring, for knitting stitch marker, 1 small jump ring and paper clip of your choice for crochet.

Join jump rings together, opening smaller ring per marker. All beads are on ball thread.

Abbreviations:
R - Ring
Ch - Chain
· - Bead

R (8 ····8) Cl. RW
Ch (10···10) RW
R (8 +(J between 2 beads from previous R) 8) Cl. RW
Ch (10 +(J to jump ring) 10) RW
R (8 +(J between 2 beads from first R) 8) Cl. RW
Ch (10 ··· 10) RW
R (8 +(J between 2 beads from first R) 8) Cl. RW
Ch (10···10) RW

Tie between first R and Ch, cut and hide.

Chart:
Purple represents beads and gray is the jump ring.

**A note on beads: I use either size 10/0 or 11/0 beads for tatting with size 20 thread. They are just large enough to be seen, but not so large as to weigh the piece down.

**The eyelets in this scarf are meant for creating a tasseled fringe. If you don't like having fringes on your scarves, omit the ends and substitute with 4 rows of knitted stitches.
